About.
I have reached my 30's which feels old in the sim racing scene and probably means we can write off being destined for any World Championships in real life eh!?
I was lucky (and foolish...) enough to find myself in a position to fund myself going racing. Lots of googling and browsing later Chris Hack Racing was born! I got myself a BMW Compact Cup race car and spent an amazing 4 years living the dream! After a few rounds I signed up to join one of the teams as it quickly became clear we needed extra hands and made great friends along the way. Routec International Racing were there to my rescue many times...even when I managed to fill the race car with Diesel.
These days you'll likely find me working as a Software Engineer, out for a run, racing for Wild Things Racing, making setups for Coach Dave Academy or snacking! But the aim is to one day make it back on track again.
Experience.
2014. After success in the virtual world I decided who needs to buy a house and signed up to take my ARDS test. Then purchased a race car.
2015. First ever time on track at Brands Hatch before entering the BMW Compact Cup championship.
2016-18. Carried on in BMW Compact Cup achieving multiple top 10 finishes until the money ran out.
2020. Began to get the bug for the virtual laps again by dabbling in the F1 games.
2021 and beyond. Found ACC. Put many hours in and joined Wild Things Racing. This has led to competing in SRO eSports and landing a test driver role for Coach Dave Academy.
