After many many painful weeks and in all honesty, months we can announce that Chris will be taking on the Safety Devices Gaz Shocks BMW Compact Cup this season. With the series constantly drawing tremendous (and ever increasing) grids containing some of the UK club racing scenes top talent there is no better value for money out there. It will also be a great place for Chris to test himself against some serious competition as he begins the racing journey.
Some say it’s a miracle that Chris who is infamous indecisive managed to make the decision and that this article isn’t being posted in 2025 instead! That’s not a typo. With the decision made an existing Cup car has been sourced and testing began in February at Brands Hatch with the 750 club pre season day at Donington Park our other test day we’ve now certainly experienced the wet weather.
The aim this year is a steady driver development year with current plans including 5 of the 7 rounds and focus on plenty of test days in the breaks skipping these 2 rounds will bring. Chris is hoping to see himself progress each and every time he gets on track throughout this year and steadily move up the grid.
