Having spent 2015 learning everything about racing we have taken the logical step of staying with the BMW Compact Cup championship for 2016. This means Chris can keep building confidence while testing himself against some of the best club level drivers out there without having to learn a new car. There are some changes however! The championship has moved to the BRSCC club over Winter which will means sharing the race weekends with exciting series like the FunCup, Caterhams, Minis, Formula Ford and MX5 Supercup to name a few! We can’t wait to meet lots of new friends in the BRSCC paddock.
The plan for 2016 is to continue our relationship with Routec International Racing that saw big strides forwards made towards the end of last season. This should enable Chris to really push on and continue making progress towards the front of the grid. The aim is to start challenging the Top 10 by the end of this year which is no mean feat considering the level of opposition.
Our campaign kicks off at Brands Hatch on April the 10th and you can find us testing there on Wednesday the 6th for final preparations. It should be another fantastic year of racing as within a week of championship registration opening there are 45 of us signed up! On top of that the Brands Hatch entry list was already above 20 cars within hours of being opened proving once again this is the place to be if you want to see action packed full grid racing.
We still have Partnership opportunities available for those wishing to take advantage of the unique exposure and opportunities Motorsport can offer. Please see our Partners page for more information on how you can get involved and what fantastic benefits we can offer you.
